Harriet popham is a print designer that specialises in interiors. She combines architecture and animals in her work using print and embroidery. She gets research from visiting different cities and studying the wildlife that surrounds her studio. From this research she creates designs that tells a story. As well as developing her homeware brand, she has worked freelance for Harper Collins, Sheffield museum and has taken on a variety of commissions.
Harriet pophams work inspires me as she collages and tells stories through her work. I want to tell a story in my work, using collage could be an option that I choose. I think using collage would help me to get more things in my work. I found a dress that she made that my work could end up being similar to. Harriet pop ham also uses embroidery which I would like to try for my work.
